Both were wrongfully accused

Both were imprisoned because of alleged crimes against women

Both exhibited patience, shrewdness, and perseverance over a period of many years in prison

Both enriched the lives of others while in prison

Both impressed the prison warden

Both had a friend in prison that almost helped them out of prison but then didn’t

Both had a skill set that put them in a position to get out of prison

Both eventually got out of prison

Once out of prison, both made a way for others to follow them to a better life
