Here’s the question… Why do the nations rage? Why do people scheme and plot? Why do people expend all their energy attempting to manage and manipulate? It’s vanity. It begets, at best, a fleeting and flimsy ILLUSION of control, and an ephemeral imitation of joy.

People scheme and strategize. People scroll and take mooncalf counsel. People pursue the chimera of self-sovereignty.

People poll what’s popular and subsequently slaughter to suit fashions and trends.

James dies.

Peter is imprisoned.

The “trial” looms.

…And He who sits in the heavens LAUGHS.

Satire. …sadness that James got killed. But ultimately – – – > SATIRE!

SATIRE: the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

The Lord holds the schemers in derision.

He will terrify them – for they will accept nothing but terror. Terror is the only language they know.

They have set their hope and trust on Jesus of Nazareth. The Stone of Stumbling. The Rock of Offense.

What should I say?

I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

And THE MEEK will be there, joyfully participating!

What should we write to Kings and Rulers and Presidents?
