Imagine 2 sisters.

Sister A is uptight, bossy, and bitter.

Sister B is listening to a guy tell stories, and subsequently she is not helping with chores at the moment.

Sister A demands that the storyteller command sister B to stop listening to stories and help with the chores.

The storyteller says, “Sister B is actually right to be listening to stories right now; and sister A is wrong.”

:::

What if sister B says, “Even though the storyteller says that my sister is wrong and I am right …nevertheless, I will be the one to repent, and I will be the first to apologize. I want to be the chief repenter! And historically and pragmatically speaking – my sister isn’t the type of person to admit she’s wrong or ask for forgiveness.”
