  1. How do you feel about the fact that the rich are invited to boast in humiliation (see James 1:10)? We work so hard to be popular and wealthy, and then God comes along and ruins our plans. How do you feel about that? What are examples from Scripture of God inviting people into meekness, weakness, lowliness, humiliation, and poverty?
  2. What do you think of Luke 9:57-58?
  3. How do you feel about the fact that the foundational leaders of the church (see Ephesians 2:20) are uneducated common men (see Acts 4:13)? Do you think you ought to have at least one uneducated common person mentoring you?
  4. Honestly, how do you feel about the fact that the Holy Spirit is in charge of the most important organization on earth? How do you feel about what Jesus and the Holy Spirit did to Nicodemus (see John 3:1-14)?
