Children’s Sermon Notes – Luke

Sermon Outline:

    1. Persistent Prayer
    2. Hopeful Hearts
    3. God’s Grace

Reflection Questions:

    1. A life of faith is characterized by persistent prayer and hopeful hearts rooted in God’s grace. Jesus asks, “Will your faith look like this when I return?” How would you answer that question?
    2. What is hard about asking for help? What aspects of God’s character encourage you in your efforts to pray?
    3. Are there situations that makes you feel like an outcast? Rejected? Beaten down? What would it sound like to talk to God about these things?
    4. Jesus explicitly says, “God will give justice to [his elect] speedily” as a hopeful promise to reassure you in your faith. What sort of hope does this provide you?
