The Maker / The Boss / The Author of YOUR life & YOUR story says,

Don’t be wise in your own eyes. …it will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Honor the LORD with your wealth …and your vats will be bursting with wine.

Find wisdom and get understanding …it’s better than financial gain!

By wisdom the LORD founded the earth. Wisdom was beside the LORD like a master workman, and wisdom was the LORD’s daily delight (rejoicing always before the LORD; and rejoicing in the LORD’s inhabited world and delighting in the children of man).

Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. #e.g. Boaz; Leviticus 19:9-11.

Ponder the path of your feet.

Rejoice in the wife of your youth …Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love.

If you are snared in the words of your mouth – do this, SAVE YOURSELF! Go hasten, and plead urgently with your neighbor. Give your eyes no sleep and your eyelids no slumber; SAVE YOURSELF like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the hand of the fowler.

A worthless person points the finder and continually sows discord.

People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry.

Call insight your intimate friend (e.g. Phil Connors, Willy Wonka, Belteshazzar, & Edmond Dantés).

Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse. …Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you.

A babbling fool will come to ruin.

Whoever restrains his lips is prudent [וְחֹשֵׂךְ שְׂפָתָיו].

A man of understanding remains silent [וְחֹשֵׂךְ שְׂפָתָיו].

A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself.

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer.

WHOEVER CAPTURES SOULS IS WISE.

Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast.

The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.

There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing (e.g. Phil Connors & Edmond Dantés).

THOSE WHO PLAN PEACE HAVE JOY.

A prudent man conceals knowledge (e.g. the parables of Jesus of Nazareth).

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.

One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.

LITTLE by LITTLE —> a desire fulfilled is a tree of life (and a gentle tongue is a tree of life); and the teaching of the wise is a fountain of life (e.g. the parables of Jesus of Nazareth, and the teachings of Edmond Dantés).

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise (e.g. Where is the one who is wise? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? …we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block and folly to most, but to the wise it is the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. …God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are! Jesus of Nazareth has become to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption).

A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain.

LEAVE THE PRESENCE OF A FOOL.

A man of quick temper acts foolishly.

Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, be he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

A gentle tongue is a tree of life (and a desire fulfilled is a tree of life).

A scoffer does not like to be reproved.

THE CHEERFUL OF HEART HAS A CONTINUAL FEAST (e.g. Phil Connors).

To make an apt answer is a joy.

The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the bones.

HUMILITY COMES BEFORE HONOR (e.g. Edmond Dantés & Dr. Elwin Ransom).

Better is a little.

It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

A servant who deals wisely will RULE OVER a son who acts shamefully.

Whoever mocks the poor insults his Maker.

A bribe is like A MAGIC STONE.

Whoever covers an offense seeks love.

Let a man meet a she-bear (דֻּבִּים֙) robbed of her cubs rather than a fool in his folly.

A JOYFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE.

To impose a fine on a righteous man is not good.

Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.

Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
