    1. Disagree On The Definition
    2. Devastation
    3. Desperate Dependence

Reflection Questions:

    1. When was a time God disagreed with you about your definition or understanding of something really important?
    2. When was a time God told you that you weren’t actually as committed to Him as you gave yourself credit for?
    3. When was a time God disabused you of your delusions of self-sufficiency? …and it really got to you?
    4. Read Luke 18:23-24. Does it bother you that Jesus didn’t “work harder” to accommodate this man, but instead Jesus gives him a hard command and simply watches the man walk away sad?
    5. Are you “rich”? If you said, “No,” is that your final answer? Do you agree with Jesus’ assessment in Luke 18:24-25?
    6. How has God cultivated an addiction to Himself inside of you …so that now you are compelled to seek Him first and foremost, above and beyond all else?
