Children’s Sermon Notes – Luke
Sermon Outline:
-
- Persistent Prayer
- Hopeful Hearts
- God’s Grace
Reflection Questions:
-
- A life of faith is characterized by persistent prayer and hopeful hearts rooted in God’s grace. Jesus asks, “Will your faith look like this when I return?” How would you answer that question?
- What is hard about asking for help? What aspects of God’s character encourage you in your efforts to pray?
- Are there situations that makes you feel like an outcast? Rejected? Beaten down? What would it sound like to talk to God about these things?
- Jesus explicitly says, “God will give justice to [his elect] speedily” as a hopeful promise to reassure you in your faith. What sort of hope does this provide you?
