- Make a list of 5 things that you REALLY WANT (e.g. acceptance, affirmation, security, safety, happiness, etc.) Where do you go to get these desires met? …Are Jesus and His bride (the local church) an obstacle – or the primary outlet – for getting these desires fulfilled?
- When was a time in your life when you truly felt it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to feed on the Word of God, cry out to God in prayer, and gather with the body of Christ to worship God as a family?
- If you actually believe what Jesus says (i.e. take Him at His Word and do what He says) – how has this changed your perspective, and your expectations, and you decisions?
