Reflection Questions:

    1. Do you surrender to the invasive and authoritative presence of Jesus? Or do you lean on your own understanding and follow your feelings?
    2. Are you dominated by the fear of “losing the illusion of control”? Are you constantly afraid of what people think or say about you?
    3. Seeing as how the Bible is full of violent and abusive stories …How have you intimately and imaginatively inhabited these narratives and what is your primary take-away from them?
    4. Read Genesis 50:20. What do you make of this guy’s reaction to having been massively mistreated?
    5. How have you personally relished the authoring and perfecting work of God lately?
